Plumber – Full Time

Due to increased business demand and new contracts, we are looking for competent plumbers to carry out water leak detection services and to excavate floors, walls, ceilings etc. To access and fix hidden water leaks in properties.

You should have practical knowledge of plumbing and heating systems, with at least a L2 or L3 plumbing qualification.

The role involves investigating suspected water leaks in properties. Understanding the issue by speaking to the homeowner. Following a prescribed methodology to determine which system is the potential cause. Using a variety of techniques to trace the leak – this will include infrared camera, electronic acoustics, moisture measures, salts testing, pressure testing and tracer gas. Full training & all specialist equipment will be provided and paid for by the company.

Other basic plumbing services such as un-plumbing white goods, disconnecting and re-connecting sinks and radiators and un-plumbing bathroom suites will also be part of the role.

Most of the work is in the Northamptonshire area, but we do also cover parts of Peterborough, Bedford, Luton & Cambridgeshire areas from our Rugby depot and hours are usually 0830hrs to 1700hrs Monday to Friday with some overtime and weekend working necessary if a job overruns or during busy times.

A full driving license is essential with use of our company logoed vehicles.
